Larin Sullivan of Trinket Films cast me as the main character’s love Ronnie–who first appears as a mime–in a reading of her screenplay “Temper,” staged at The New American Theatre in Hollywood last week. This film-to-be’s logline is:
A drag king in Las Vegas for the weekend seeks out her estranged father, a clown, and learns that their lives intersect in unexpected ways. As she’s trying to prove herself, she learns a hard and fast lesson of tough love at the poker table.
And mic drop (but MOS, natch).
